Brandon Ballengée is an American visual artist, biologist and environmental educator based in Louisiana. In many cases, his works have a kind of objective restraint, which is like showing the cruel reality calmly. Unlike many other works on environmental protection issues, his works tend to be more scientific than subjective.

Damien Hirst is an English artist, entrepreneur, and art collector. His works have been controversial from the beginning. Some people may think that his works seem too cruel. However, perhaps it is this kind of visually impactful work that makes the problem he wants to express attract more people's attention. The indifference of the audience seems to have become a part of his work.

Valerie Sparks is an Australian artist who creates large-scale printed works and immersive installation environments. Her works are the most distinctive among the works I have listed, because although other works have different forms, the overall mood is negative and cold, while her works are in a paradise style. The way of expression, although the color is mainly grayscale, but from the content to the composition, it is full of imagination and beautiful emotions.

Nick Brandt is an English photographer, whose photographic themes always relate to the disappearing natural world, before much of it is destroyed by mankind. Different from other works, I think his works are the most consistent with my current ideas and subsequent shooting ideas. Our works tend to be placed, that is, objects that do not belong to the current environment are forcibly placed in a designated area. Although the form is different, I think his thinking direction is worth learning from my follow-up works.
