In the week 1&2, the content of supervision is about the topic of the new project. In these weeks my idea was more pretend to start a totally brand-new project instead of keep working on the project that I made in previous semesters.

In the week 3, Dr Barry gave me some recommendations about some artists who have related works with my project. And the discussion is about these artists and reference value that might be meaningful for me from their works.

In the week 4, we talked about the proposal. The main point of this project and some general shooting ideas are determined.

​

In the week 5, we discussed about some drafts what I was planning in this week. Personally, I was trying to dig the topic. However, I found it much difficult than I thought. Because I was wondering how to express these ideas and the performance what would fit for my project. 

​

In the week 6, the progress of the project is not very satisfactory. The first review is getting close, but I still feel I didn’t get the right way of the project. So, Dr Barry suggested me to find the common between new project and project in the last year.

​

In the week 7&8, I took some works that I am satisfied with. And we decide to use the new form of these works and related the previous ideas. Because the core content of these projects is actually similar.  

​

In the week 9, we talked about some artists who have some related artworks in this area. And we discussed the necessary of narrative in these works. Some other shooting methods and expressions that can be combined with the current development direction are also within the scope of this discussion.

​

In the week 10, the shooting of the project encountered some bottlenecks. On the one hand, it seemed that the narrative method of the work was not rich enough, and on the other hand, the exploration of the scene was stalled. So, the discussion on how to solve these problems is the focus of this week.

​

In the week 11&12, the general situation of the project is almost complete, but there are still some ideas I want to try and reshoot. Discussed more possibilities in some scenarios and planned to finish it in the remaining time.

​

In the after weeks, the sudden lockdown disrupted the original plan, so some previous shooting plans had to be cancelled, and the time was used to prepare reports and the statement.
